Be a Legionnaire!
Any person shall be eligible for membership in The American Legion who was a member of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps., Air Force or Coast Guard, of the United States.

If you have served at least one day of active military duty since December 7, 1941 and were honorably discharged or you are still serving active military duty honorably, you are eligible for membership with The American Legion.

Membership in The Sons of The American Legion shall be limited to all male descendants, adopted sons, and stepsons of members of The American Legion and such male descendants of male and female veterans who died in service during the periods indicated above, or who died after honorable discharge.

Membership in The American Legion Auxiliary shall be limited to the mothers, wives, daughters, granddaughters, great granddaughters, and sisters of members of Post 80 American Legion and to the mothers, wives, daughters, granddaughters, great granddaughters, and sisters of all men and women who were in the military service of the United States during the periods mentioned above.
